Conventions/influences: social media

As before look at some general examples from a range of genres, noting what you observe to be COMMON conventions.
Then look more closely at your artist + genre examples for any particular conventions specific to this.

For all 3 texts though you can reasonably be influenced from examples well beyond your genre.

When you're blogging on conventions keep making links back to audience - how does the example you're looking at indicate a likely audience? What is the media language being used to achieve this - whether thats font style, mode of address, puns (intertextuality), interactivity, written language (case, informality etc), high/low key lighting ...

You could mimic (create a simulacrum of) some specific aspects of your chosen artist's social media style.

Another small tip ... consider naming the fans (eg Beliebers, Little Monsters - Bieber, Gaga).
